How much time do I need to commit?

You set your own schedule on Medico care. We only require that you make yourself available for two appointments per week. Practices that do not make any appointments available will be removed from the platform until appointments are added.

Who covers my malpractice insurance?

As an independent provider offering services through Medicocare, you will need to carry your own malpractice coverage. Many policies today can include telemedicine, so a good place to start is to reach out to your current carrier to determine if live video consults are covered.

What is the difference between a private practice and the Online Care Group?

Your private practice is your own branded medical practice on Medico care. You determine the services you want to offer and how much you will charge. With a private practice, you provide your own malpractice and all visits are cash pay.

With Online Care Group, you’re joining a medical group. You still determine your own schedule, but you are paid a specified rate on a per-visit basis (this varies by specialty). You’ll have malpractice insurance coverage through the Online Care Group, get additional training and support, as well as the potential to earn additional state licensure at no cost to you.

How do patients find me?

Patients come in through our Medico care patient platform seeking care. On Medico care, they can browse services by specialty or practice name and will only see services from providers licensed in their state. Through our health plan and employer partnerships, as well as our own direct-to-consumer marketing efforts, we have a robust patient base you can offer services to.

How much will I get paid?

You determine how much you get paid when you set your visit fee and appointment availability for cash-pay visits. We collect payment from the patient and deposit your earnings into your specified bank account, net of transaction fees, on a weekly basis.
